Thank you for this! My son is bowed and his feet turn inward just like the photo you posted. He’s now 21 months old. I asked his pediatrician about it when he was 12 months, 15 months and 18 months and she kept saying he’s fine and they’ll strengthen out and correct themselves as he grows. Sometimes I’m content with that and sometimes I’m not. Reading your story definitely provides me with more comfort and patience. I will still ask at his 2 year appointment but I’m being patient enough to wait until then instead of calling Monday and scheduling an appointment. Thank you again and blessings to you and your family.
I’m so happy this helps- it’s a tough time because it requires faith in the dark. I will say persistent bow leg is really rare in the West- so try to not overthink it but make sure your child has great sources of minerals and vitamins as they’re growing to support their bone health and overall development. Check back in as much as you need the reassurance... Good luck and lots of blessings to you and yours!
Thank you so much. I will definitely make sure I stay on top of his vitamin and mineral intake. Best wishes to you!
